Infrastructure Development
Infrastructure development focuses on enhancing mobility, accessibility, and environmental sustainability across the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area.

Key infrastructure projects include upgrading/ reconstructing roads with pedestrian lanes to promote non-motorized transport (NMT), installing street lighting for improved security and traffic signals at selected junctions to ease congestion. Additionally, the rehabilitation of stormwater drainage systems will mitigate flooding and enhance urban resilience. Green spaces like parks will also be developed to improve residents' quality of life and reduce pollution. These improvements are designed to support the growing urban population, reduce traffic congestion, and improve connectivity between Kampala and surrounding districts. The program will also provide infrastructure for markets and workspaces to improve working conditions and livelihoods for individuals and communities.
