image description

The program is financed by the World Bank, AFD, and the Government of Uganda, with a total budget of USD 1.18 billion. Financial management systems are used to track expenditures, ensuring that all funds are disbursed and used in line with the program’s objectives. Regular audits are conducted to verify that financial records are accurate and that funds are not being misused. The program also follows strict guidelines for fund disbursement, ensuring that payments are made only after performance targets are met. This financial oversight is essential to ensuring accountability and maximizing the impact of the program’s investments. Risk management strategies identify potential challenges early, allowing for quick corrective actions, and financial audits ensure proper use of funds.
